The brand ASUS has been one of the great protagonists of CES 2017 when it comes to smartphones. And ASUS took advantage of this great technological event in Texas to present what will be its new flagship, the ZenFone AR, with up to 8 gigs of RAM and one of the best chips on the market.
ASUS has not stopped there and keep introducing new devices that will go on sale throughout this year 2017, although not as powerful as the ZenFone AR. This time we focus on a mid-range device that has seen the light of day in China (its main market) and that ASUS has baptized with the name of ZenFone Pegasus 3S.
We are going to explain its main features of this smartphone, which has a metal casing and a fingerprint reader. We start with the screen, an IPS HD of 5'2 inches. As for its interior, it has a MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor with 3 gigs of RAM, and will be presented in two versions, 32 and 64 gigabytes, with the possibility of expanding this memory with microSD cards of up to 2 teras.
But the most striking feature of the ASUS ZenFone Pegasus 3S is its large battery. With a 5000 mAh battery, ASUS ensures that the smartphone can be used intensively for two days without charging. In addition, we comment that it will have two cameras, the rear 13 megapixel and the front 8 megapixel, dual SIM and Android 7.0 Nougat as an operating system.
In theory, this ASUS ZenFone Pegasus 3S goes on sale throughout this month of January of 2017, first in China and then we will see if it goes out to the rest of the market. The starting prices, changed from the yen to the euro, are around 275 euros in its 64-gig version.
