A few days ago we told you about a fairly simple trick to facilitate that, if you lose your phone and someone picks it up, they can easily locate you. This time we will talk about a special function on the accessibility of any Android terminal: «TalkBack«. This feature allows the device to send voice messages to any visually impaired user. For example, whatever we select or activate will speak to us to be sure of what we do.
Settings
If we access Settings> Accessibility> TalkBack, we can activate or deactivate the function, but first of all, let's see all the possible Settings:
- Voice volume: We can use the multimedia volume or select the percentage at which we want to hear the voice.
- Ringer volume
- Use pitch shifts: Lower your voice volume for unimportant things, even so, we will continue to be alert.
- Keyboard echo: Always play the key we are pressing on the keyboard.
- With screen off: If we want the messages to continue with the screen off.
- Proximity sensor: If we activate this function, when we get closer, the voice will stop.
- Say issuer name: Insert our name to speak to us more directly.
- Vibration, sound, sound volume: Activate or deactivate as it suits us.

As you can see, TalkBack has many features, but it is very effective if we have any visual impairment.
Utilization
When we activate TalkBack, voice packets will be downloaded. For us to reproduce a poster or the letters that we press, it is enough to lead a normal life with the telephone, but it will be a little heavier since to activate anything you need to make two clicks instead of just one touch.
It is a bit overwhelming the first time we use TalkBack, in addition, if we do not have any disability it is better that we deactivate it because it is useless (if we do not have any visual impairment).
