Once entered the user interface, the first thing we will have to do is select a Google account to which we have linked the Android device that we want to find or locate. As soon as we enter the correct password of the account linked to the device or devices, we will be shown a list of terminals from which we can select the terminal that we want to locate, a location that, whenever it is turned on, will show it to us with a small margin of error of just a few meters on a map.
Another option that is presented to us in Android Device Manager, is the possibility of accessing with a guest account, a very interesting option that will allow us to find the lost device of, for example, any known person who knows their Google account and password. This is ideal to help a friend, always with their consent, to search for the lost or stolen terminal.
Apart from being able to locate a lost Android terminal, playing the ringtone at maximum volume for five minutes or until we press the Power button, Android Device Manager, also gives us the possibility to erase the device, or just as easily block it for unauthorized use, all from a distance just by having an Internet connection via Wifi or data network.
