Android has among its many options a very interesting one called "bedtime". This function is used to save battery life once we stop using the phone and make the device go to rest as well. Let's see how it works and what benefits it offers.
Activate "bedtime" mode on your Android

There are two types of Android users at bedtime: one that turns off the phone and another that leaves it on. Well, did you know that if you don't press the off button on your device and leave it on all night, it consumes energy?
The reason is because some applications and functions remain active or work in the background. You can disable them, but there is an option called "bedtime" that applies to computers. This causes the device to be completely deactivated, but it remains on. To activate this functionality you must do the following:
- Enter the Android settings by tapping the icon identified with a gear wheel.
- Enter the section «digital well-being«.
- At the bottom of the screen, scroll until you get the “bedtime” option.
- You have two activation options:
- A general one for every day called "activate now".
- One scheduled for certain dates and times called "activate according to schedule."
To know that bedtime mode has been successfully activated on your Android, you will see a change in the design of your screen. This will have a gray tone that helps save battery. Also, it will silence notifications, calls or any type of sound that may occur.
Regarding the alarms that you have set on your mobile device, they will not be affected by bedtime mode. These will not be activated and you will be able to wake up at the time that has been set. What do you think of this functionality and do you think it helps you improve your sleep?
