Action Launcher is updated to 3.9 with Nexus Launcher features and more

Chris Lacy is one of the best developers on Android, and his various apps, such as Action Launcher and Link Bubble, have demonstrated that things can be done differently with a little ingenuity. He's a developer who keeps a close eye on new Android updates and apps, integrating their features into his excellent launcher.

Right in the midst of the Nougat and Nexus Launcher era, Chris Lacy has already incorporated some of the features and visual aspects of that launcher into the beta version of Action Launcher 3. Now he has released the final version, leaving beta behind and presenting Action Launcher 3.9, one of the most unique app launchers you can find on the Google Play Store.

It was in the beta version that Chris Lacy introduced the Nexus Launcher look, including a new app panel and other features favored by Google, such as daytime widgets. But now we have the final version of Action Launcher 3, and here are all its new features:

  • Integration of the panel of all the apps of the rumored Nexus Launcher. A gesture up in the dock to reveal all the apps.
  • Updated the folders style with two different Nexus Launcher versions
  • Background tinted dock added
  • Customize the colors of "All Apps", the folder icons and the background of the dock through Quicktheme
  • Added a new page indicator
  • Added the pill widget of Google
  • Added the day widget
  • A good amount of bug fixes

The only new features in version 3.9 are the ability to customize the colors of folder icons and the dock background based on your wallpaper.
