Gemini Live has been designed so that drivers can interact with Android Auto just by talking to Gemini instead of manually activating the voice assistant.

When can we expect to see Gemini in action on Android Auto?

These hints suggest that Gemini-Android Auto integration might be closer than we think. Various references in Android Auto code mention “GeminiLiveAssistantAction,” as well as icons associated with this artificial intelligence. These hints lead us to believe that the implementation is in the advanced stages of development.
But, we believe that this initial version of Gemini is limited to users of the Google One AI Premium subscription planAdditionally, language support is likely to be gradual, starting with English and expanding to other languages later, including Spanish.
