Vivo is one of the Chinese smartphone manufacturers that is experiencing the greatest growth in recent times globally. In fact, the latest reports on the situation of the global smartphone sales market place it among the five largest sellers on the planet.
The secret, as is also the case with other Chinese brands such as Xiaomi, Oppo, etc., lies in offering smartphones that, although they fall within the medium and even low ranges, have some ever higher levels of quality, at very competitive and affordable prices, and aimed at a majority audience You don't want to empty your pocket when purchasing a phone. These same bases are the ones that will follow their next releases: the Vivo X9 and the Vivo X9 Plus.
Vivo X9 and X9 Plus, two mid-range smartphones with high-end features
Vivo's new smartphones, the X9 and X9 Plus, will fall into the category of mid-range / high-end smartphones, of which tpco forgets this brand of Chinese origin. These are two devices with great possibilities of breaking into the sector with force, and this despite their external design that does not stand out precisely for presenting an innovative nature.
The website Phone Arena ha published Some renderings that show us how these new Vivo X9 and Vivo X9 Plus smartphones could be, which, together with the leak of their technical specifications a few days ago, gives us a fairly complete vision of what these terminals will be like.
As you can see in the featured image of this post, the resemblance to Apple's iPhone in terms of design is impossible to deny, so in this aspect we cannot speak precisely of originality.
Among its most important and outstanding technical specifications:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor
- 4 GB of RAM
- 64GB ROM
- Sony IMX 260 sensor
The next Vivo X9 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 65 processor3 that will be accompanied by 4/6 GB of RAM depending on the model and 64 GB storage internal. At the moment it is unknown if it will include the option to expand this storage through a micro SD memory card although, being this a general feature in Android smartphones, it is quite likely that it will.
As far as your screen is concerned, it will have a size of 5,5 inches diagonally with Full HD resolution, and the battery could be between 3000 and 4000 mAh, so it should not present any problem to reach the end of the day.
But the true strength of the Vivo X9 seems to lie in the video and photography section. This device could integrate the IMX sensor, the same one offered by the Samsung Galaxy S7. It will have, as always, two cameras. The main rear camera will be 20 megapixels while the front camera will be 8 megapixels. In both cases, far superior to other high-end smartphones that we can find in the current market.
Obviously, no matter how good these cameras are, they must be accompanied by software capable of making the most of it and allowing users to obtain high-quality images and videos.
In the connectivity section, the Vivo X9 maintains the 3,5 mm jack plug for headphones, while integrating the USB Type C connector which is already becoming the industry standard due to its great capabilities compared to the more traditional connector.
In the same way, it will include Bluetooth connectivity (probably 4.1), WiFi, LTE and the rest of the specifications that are common to practically all smartphones.
At the moment, this is all we know about the new Vivo X9 and Vivo X9 Plus, without losing sight of the fact that we are facing unofficial information. We will have to wait for the next November 17 to get rid of doubts and to be able to see these new terminals in full when the company announces them officially.
