Samsung expects sales of the Galaxy Note 7 to resume in the United States by the end of next month. What was unknown until today is when this would happen in the rest of the regions. Now we finally know that here in Europe it will be possible to buy the phablet at the end of the month November as clarified by the Korean manufacturer.
Great news to be able to acquire again this great phone that will return in perfect condition and will try to recover that lost time from the defective Note 7 that have been exploding when charged. A serious problem that the Korean manufacturer has had to deal with and that thanks to the Recall program of substitutions has been able to remedy in part. Today we know that 90% of those who have exchanged their Note 7 have done so for another, when they had the possibility of a refund or a Galaxy S7 / S7 edge.
David Lowes, Samsung's European Marketing Director, said:
«We hope that the new Note 7 are available end of november, well before the end of the last quarter of the year ».
Although the first country where Samsung plans to introduce the Galaxy Note 7 again is South Korea. The smartphone will be available for purchase again as of September 28. What happens that in this country the recall program has not worked as much and there are many who still have defective Note 7.
It is the government agency of that country itself that has requested Samsung to extend the Recall program, to which the Korean company has not yet replied, so it is not known if it will affect its plans to put the Note 7 back on sale in that country on September 28.
As far as Europe is concerned, most of the defective Note 7s were sold in three countries: France, Germany and the United Kingdom. These countries have their Recall programs, so it is a matter of time before the defective ones that are found on the street are replaced.
