New season: Twilight Paths
The Twilight Paths season will begin on September 8 at 10:00 a.m. local time and will run until December 1. During these three months, Pokémon from the Paldea region will be introduced, including Maschiff and its evolution Mabosstiff, as well as the Mega Evolutions of Staraptor and Chandelure. There will also be new additions to Max Battles , with the arrival of Rhyhorn, Sneasel, and Sizzlipede, and the Legendary Pokémon Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf will star in a Max Battle Day.
Community Days also have set dates: September 12th will be the classic Community Day, while the regular Community Days will be held on October 10th and November 21st. The featured Pokémon for each day are still unknown, but they'll surely be announced soon.

Pokémon World Championship 2026 Events
From August 28 to 30, San Francisco will host the 2026 Pokémon World Championships and PokémonXP. Pokémon GO fans can follow the action on Twitch and earn exclusive rewards, including two new costumed Pikachu: one in a Cosmog spacesuit and another in a World Championship outfit. GO Pass: Rewards and Upgrades
The GO Pass has become a key element. For the Twilight Paths season, it will be available from September 8 to December 1. Players can complete tasks to earn points and level up, unlocking level-up rewards in Pokémon GO such as extra Candy, more XP and Stardust, or increased gift capacity. There is also a Deluxe version, which costs $7,99 (or $9,99 with 10 extra levels) and offers better rewards and faster progression.
In addition, there's a special event in September : from October 3rd to 4th, there will be no daily GO Points limit, so it's the perfect time to progress quickly. September GO Pass rewards expire on October 8th, so be sure to claim them in time.
Raids and featured Pokémon of September
As for raids , September brings an interesting rotation. The legendary Pokémon Regirock, Regice, and Registeel will be available until September 8, and then Zacian, Zamazenta, and Xerneas will arrive. There will also be Dark Raids featuring Giratina and Thundurus. Mega Raids will include Mega Gyarados, Mega Beedrill, Mega Houndoom, Mega Venusaur, Mega Malamar, and Mega Victreebel.
Every Wednesday there will be a Raid Hour featuring a featured Pokémon, and on Thursdays we'll have a Featured Pokémon Hour with special bonuses. In addition, there are events like classic Community Day, Harvest Festival, and Super Mega Raid Day.
